What is your shipping method?
All in-house items are shipped via FedEx Ground. Customers please note: We do not require a signature on shipments unless instructed to do so. We are NOT responsible for stolen packages. If you live in an area where your package could potentially be stolen from your doorstep, please contact us and have us request a signature.
What are your shipping charges?
All orders include free FedEx Ground shipping (48 states only). Please note, free shipping only applies to finalized sales and does NOT apply to states outside of the continental United States.
Where do you ship?
For the chicks and chickens we ship to the continental U.S. for free via FedEx Ground.
We do not ship outside of the continental U.S. Coops or not available for shipping
When will my package arrive?
Packages shipped within the continental U.S. generally take about 3-5 business days for delivery. We will forward the tracking number once to the email provided when the items have been shipped. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure their email address is updated, we are not responsible for spam filters or emails that get bounced back as undelivered.
Customers PLEASE NOTE: We do not require a signature on shipments unless instructed to do so. We are NOT responsible for stolen packages or packages exposed to weather or animals on your doorstep. If you feel it is in your best interest to have a signature required on your package to prevent unattended delivery please contact us immediately following your purchase and request a signature be required on your package.
Whether a signature is required or not, it is your responsibility to ensure you are available to accept or retrieve the package from the Fedex hub if necessary.
If, for any reason, the package is sent back to our location, and you at that point want to cancel the order, we will NOT refund initial shipping costs. Please contact us immediately.
What is your return policy?
Please read the following carefully before purchase, as purchasing items on sunrisefarmhatchery.com constitutes an agreement to the return policy. All products are warranted against defects in workmanship for a period of 30 days from the day of purchase. Defective products and/or components will be replaced according to this 30 day warranty by either refund or replacement.
In the event of a return/exchange, the customer must contact us BEFORE shipping the items back to ensure proper procedure is followed.
Our photos of the different pure breed birds are representations of the pure breed poultry named and may or may not be of our bloodlines. Our goal at Sunrise Farm Hatchery is to mate parent stock that will produce chicks that will mature into similar representations of each breed that is photographed. We have numerous flock owners and customers who show their birds at poultry shows throughout the United States. Of course, the birds shown at poultry shows are usually the best marked bird of their entire flock. Most flocks of a pure breed will have some kind or degree of variance from one bird to another. A large percentage of the photos on our site are of our bloodlines.

We guarantee that you will receive full count of live, healthy poultry according to this guarantee. We often place extra chicks in each box to help fulfill this guarantee. However, if losses should occur in shipment and you do receive less live chicks than you ordered, we will make an adjustment either by replacing poultry, (we are not able to ship just a few chicks for replacement) or process a refund for the chick price or a credit to another order you are placing for the current year. Please open chick boxes immediately and inspect poultry. This guarantee is only for the safe and live delivery of your poultry. Please contact us directly with questions.
